Beginning in May of 2006 one- and two-day programs will be offered utilizing 400 horsepower Maserati cars including the GranSport, Quattroporte and Coupe. Managed in cooperation with Panoz Racing School, Master Maserati is an exceptional value with one-day courses priced at $1,800 and two-day courses at $3,400, not including airfare and transportation. Full hospitality and business services are available and two-day courses will include an elegant dinner and stay at the Chateau Elan Inn and Resort.

The goal for participants of Master Maserati is to learn how to extract the most from themselves, improving driving technique and tapping into the incredible envelope of a Maserati's performance, while becoming better -- and more educated -- drivers.

"Each Maserati is designed and carefully crafted to provide a spectacular driving experience," commented James Selwa, President of Maserati North America. "We sought a teaching staff that could provide expert training and a world class racetrack on which to run the program. We are confident that enthusiasts will gain a true appreciation of the incredible performance threshold of a Maserati in a dynamic atmosphere true to our special marque."

Limited to eighteen participants per session, courses are further divided into small groups to ensure not only that driving times are optimized but also that everyone gets the very best from the teaching experience. Direct contact during the dynamic sessions allows the instruction to be more finely tailored to develop each participant's individual driving skills. Drivers will absorb basic lessons of performance driving including visualization, car control, accident avoidance, high-speed direction change through exercises in vehicle dynamics, skid-pad technique, high-performance lane change, controlled braking, slalom, autocross, and exhilarating road course sessions.

A primary sponsor of Master Maserati USA is Audemars Piguet, the oldest watch manufacturer still in the hands of the founding families, which has produced complex timepieces decorated with the finest jewels since 1875. Audemars Piguet will also be the new main sponsor of the European Trofeo Maserati 2006. Tradition, excellence and innovation, technology and exclusivity are characteristics that Maserati and Audemars Piguet have in common; two modern companies that produce technologically exceptional products and innovative designs. These values have always been central to their success.

MASERATI POSTS RECORD YEAR IN NORTH AMERICA

With 2,100 cars delivered in the twelve months of 2005, Maserati North America achieved an over 90% increase in volume compared to 2004. 1,550 were the Maserati Quattroporte, the high-performance sedan that quickly became the leader in its market segment. In fact, for 2005, the Quattroporte topped all competitors with over 40% share of the market for individual sedans between $100,000 and $170,000.

For 2006, the Maserati range has been broadened to eight highly focused and exciting models. New for 2006 are the Quattroporte Sport GT and Executive GT. The Sport GT offers the highest level of performance while the Executive GT embraces exquisite luxury. The two door line now features a thrilling 400 horsepower open air Spyder based on the GranSport, a limited edition GranSport and the MC Victory, which honors Maserati's capture of the 2005 Manufacturer title in European FIA GT competition.

"I've raced and won in cars of all marques but I always had a special relationship with Maserati: not only were the cars reliable and always absolutely technically avant-garde, but there was a very special friendship and atmosphere between myself and the marque. I felt completely at home." Juan Manuel Fangio
